Dashi is a class of soup and cooking stock used in Japanese cuisines. These stocks are not supermarket level dashi sachets but "Michelin star" quality and you will be thrilled! No salt or any additives in these they are pure shiitake and konbu. Great for vegans, vegetarians, people with specific dietary issues and gluten free options too!
These particular vegetarian stock sachets are made with 50% Kombu (Laminaria japonica) and 50% Shiitake mushroom (no MSG) and are made in a patented high heat/high pressure system. The flavour is excellent!
Drop a sachet into 400ml of warm water and infuse for 15 minutes. Use as broth, noodles, in omelettes, sauces, risottos etc. The ingredients left in the sachet are great to put through noodles/rice etc.
